I would love to be a part of a life group=) I do have a crazy schedule. I never know when I’m going to be off. I have a new schedule every week. But, If at all possible I would like to join a life group.

Hello! I’m excited to see there is an evening service available on Sunday! This give me an added opportunity to become more involved in our Christian life style. My family does not attend any church regularly but would like for that to change! Although my son, Jake, has always been taught the ways of the bible, I feel its very important for him to share these beliefs with other Christians his age! 15 is an extremely impressionable age and can be confusing and challenging as you know! Having support as well as giving support will help keep him grounded. What do you suggest as far as attending the High School Youth Group? It would probably be best for him to start attending in the beginning of an event as oppose to after something has begun, you think?

Please include myself and friend (Sueann Selby and Leo Buis) in your life group information and/or invitations. We were so happy to have found your church today. I belonged to one, personally up North in Sacramento for years and grew so much as a christian with groups such as the ones you state here. We are a senior couple desiring to grow in the Lord and also to become friends with a group of Christians. We have no family here and would like to have some Christian friends for holidays, gatherings, worship, etc. Thank you so much for including us on your list. Where do we start. To steal an idea from Beth Moore, in her study Breaking Free……
Isaiah 48:18 “….your peace would have been like a river…” This is in reference to following the commands of God… that our peace would be like a river. Notice it does not say “peace like a pond.” I love that!! It lets me know that God’s peace is not the tranquil fleeting stillness that so rarely appears in my life. God’s peace is steadfast, and always present – in the midst of my chaos. It IS possible to have peace, even when life is not peaceful. Thank You, Father, for Your amazing gift of peace that surpasses all human understanding!

I love the challenge to be quiet and soak in the enormity of what Jesus did for each one of us. All too often, prayer time is a one-way conversation. It the quiet moments, God can (and does) speak to our hearts. New thoughts, new revelations – specific to each one of us.

God desires to have a relationship with us. Is it possible to have a relationship with someone when you do all the talking? If you never allowed the other person to share with you, or to encourage you, or to admonish you…. to LIVE life with you?

Thanks, Travis, for this reminder! What an awesome day (and weekend) to spend more time reflecting than requesting…..

I read a part of Luke 23 today and it helped me remember…
And I believe if we can be still and listen God will give us a new name too! like Beloved, Mighty Warrior, Chosen One, Friend, just to name a few.
I have a new name and that is my prayer for all of God’s people.

“When we don’t respond to truth with joy we die a little inside”— so true! God tells us to Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Ephesians 5:19, 20) Each week I ask for a list of the worship songs that are planned, find them on YouTube, and enjoy singing along with them each day. Then by Sunday those songs are in my heart and I can sing them with such joy and abandon, truly worshiping and praising our wonderful Lord!

In the past I was not comfortable with a lot of singing at church. Now, I feel different and this has helped me understand the reasons behind it.
